EMDR Intensives
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based approach for processing trauma, distressing memories, and stuck emotional patterns. An EMDR intensive condenses that work into longer, focused sessions, allowing for deeper processing in a shorter overall timeframe.
I am EMDR trained, and every intensive is custom-scheduled around your needs and goals. Intensives launch in November 2026, and space will be limited. Reach out now to join the waitlist.
Is an Intensive Right for You?
Why choose an intensive: you build momentum faster than with weekly sessions, especially around a specific memory or event. Intensives can work well if you have a limited window, such as before a major life event or if you are traveling in from out of town. They also mean fewer warm-up minutes lost each session and more time in active processing, and they can complement or follow your existing weekly therapy.
EMDR intensives tend to work best for a clearly defined issue, such as a specific traumatic event, phobia, or recent loss. Broad, ongoing life stressors are often better served by weekly therapy. Session length and number of sessions are decided together during a consultation, so the plan fits you rather than a one-size-fits-all package.
